Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. At an early age, her dad became fascinated with acting. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both in and outside of campus. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in 1957. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter was hired as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the children's local Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
