Katherine Heigl admits her childhood in a white bubble, and how this realization affected the way she raised adopted, multiracial kids. The actress from "Firefly Lane" told an interviewer that it did not matter what color her skin was to her. After meeting her Korean-American adopted sister she realized the difference in the way people were treated by her. If I inquired of Meg how she was treated when in public, regardless of whether we were with our parents, she said it was distinct. Meg responded "Oh Yes, all the moment!" Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I was aware of how foolish I had resulted in me feeling." She said that she was frustrated however she was also aware of that she had to channel this anger to support her daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son with her 13-year wife, Josh Kelley. In 2009, they welcomed Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in 2012.
