Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her portrayals of public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has been involved in a variety of game-based series. Her family was formed by her two brothers and sisters within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard Post. Post's wife, poetess Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post is a role model for Hollywood by being a phenomenal actress as well as a wonderful spouse and mother. Early credits for Post's acting include a 1979 appearance on Barnaby Jones, the pilot episode Simon & Simon Details at Elevenin Episode one in 1981 of Season 2 of The Greatest American Hero two episodes of The A-Team as two different characters in The Only Church in Townin 1983, Hot Stylesin 1984 and The Love Boat. She appeared as Diane Chambers' best friend in the ABC sitcom Cheers as well as Buck Rogers, in which she played Diane's best close friend.
